SCAFFOLDING CERTIFICATE
  • 4 weeks in duration, 160 hours including intensive hands-on and classroom components
  • One of the fastest growing industries in Canada, individuals certified in scaffolding are in very high demand across the country.
  • On-site facilities exceed all industry standards. Students are introduced to an actual scaffolding structure and are trained in the erection, dismantling and safe operation of scaffolding units by experienced instructors.
ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH and SAFETY TECHNICIAN PROGRAM
  • Nationally recognized and approved by the Nova Scotia Department of Education. 18 weeks in duration, 670 hours.
  • Over 25 industry related certifications, including CSTS Certificate, HAZWOPER and more.
  • Skills and training offered under the program are in extremely high demand; companies requiring individuals specializing in Environmental, Health and Safety aspects are actively hiring.
  • The hands-on training component ensures optimal preparedness for graduates. State-of-the-art equipment and knowledgeable instructors provide an ideal educational atmosphere.
PREREQUISITES: Environmental, Health and Safety Technician Program
  • Grade 12 or equivalent or Mature Student status.

Upon successful completion the graduate will receive a Career College Diploma recognized by the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Culture designating the graduate as an Environmental Health & Safety Technician.
