This course will be of benefit to forklift operators and supervisors. Topics covered will include Introduction and types of Forklifts, Legislation, Basic hydraulics and pre-operational checks, Stability and tipping, Capacity and load charts, Operating techniques and Load handling procedures. Operating hazards and precautions, Inspection, maintenance and reports. Upon completion, participants will be able to demonstrate the knowledge required for safe operation of "lift trucks" in compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
