Gas Detection Awareness
Many sites in industrial construction handle, store and produce many different gases. Most poisonous and toxic gases are both colorless and odorless. The International Scientific Corporation manufacturers the gas detectors used on many sites. The Gas Detection course is designed to teach the student how to become proficient in testing air quality. The course looks at the gases most often tested for in different instances, such as upgrading, extracting or atmospheric monitoring. The course also looks at the physical properties of these gases and the proper procedures that should be followed. Testing for oxygen, carbon monoxide and LEL are some of the more common tests that are performed.
