Hoisting and Rigging
This is designed for workers who work with lifting machines on construction sites. The course provides specific information on rigging loads and crane signaling. Emphasis is also placed on the inspection and use of wire and natural fiber ropes, synthetic slings, and identifying load weights and sling configurations. This course covers topic such as Introduction to Hoisting and Rigging, Wire Rope, Fiber Rope, Knots, Hitches, and Bends, Determining the Weights of Loads, Rigging Hardware, and Slings
