Bloodborne Pathogens Training prepares you to guard against exposure and to serve as a line of defense against the spread of diseases such as HIV, HBV and HCV. Training helps you to discover that bloodborne pathogens are infectious microorganisms in human blood that can cause disease in humans. These pathogens include, but are not limited to, hepatitis B (HBV), hepatitis C (HCV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Our Bloodborne Pathogens Course will guide you to recognize occupational hazards of blood borne pathogens entering the bloodstream, and identify preventative and control measures against the spread of diseases at the workplace. By taking Bloodborne Pathogens Training you will also train on how to avoid exposure incidents. Symptoms of certain diseases can be mild and not start until 2 weeks to years after contact with the virus. Sometimes, there are no symptoms.  Some infectious diseases get better on their own while others grow and multiply, damaging organs and causing permanent and lasting effects.
