Industrial Scaffold Apprenticeship Training SAIA Third Year Course and Exam Prerequisite:
SAIA Third Year (Journeyperson) Scaffold Erector Course and Exam
This module is designed for scaffolders with 4800 hours of scaffolding experience. It covers advanced theory including weight load math, advanced blue printing, and take-off techniques. The practical includes a blueprinted scaffold including hangers and cantilevers. Third Year status is achieved after successful completion of the course and exam. Classes begin at 8:30 a.m. It is mandatory to have a study binder for the exam level you are challenging. Study binders can be purchased from METI administration office for $125.00 each. Professional Scaffold Erector status is achieved upon completion of Third Year level.
