Training & Certification as a “Competent Person” in SAIA Tube and Coupler (clamp) Scaffolds
Become competent in erecting and using systems scaffold with METI’s Training & Certification as a “Competent Person” in SAIA Tube and Coupler (clamp) Scaffolds.
Tube and clamp scaffold (commonly called tube and coupler scaffold) is a versatile type of scaffold consisting of steel tubes and clamps. Vertical tubes are connected to horizontal tubes via right angle clamps.
METI’s Training & Certification as a “Competent Person” in SAIA Tube and Coupler (clamp) Scaffolds will provide demonstration and practice with the typical methods of constructing systems scaffolding, including:
- Identifying types and components of Tube & Coupler Scaffold
- Identifying different types of connectors
- Identify standard usage of Tube & Coupler Scaffold
- How Tube & Coupler components are used with other types of scaffolds
- Specialty uses of Tube & Coupler Scaffold including Circular, Enclosed and Hanging
- Identify Tower Scaffolds and their usages
- Erect and dismantle of a Tube & Coupler tower scaffold using Code of Safe Practice
